Edward Anderson, 78, passed away at his home on Wednesday morning, April 23, 2008. Ed was a member of the Carolina Country Club, Cape Fear Country Club in Wilmington and the Surf Club at Wrightsville Beach. 'Pop', as all knew him, was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He then later worked for the ACL railroad and moved to Jacksonville, FL as a statistician after a merger with the CSX railroad.

Ed was born on May 14, 1929, in Statesville, North Carolina, the son of Frank and Bertha Anderson.
